Edit Table Structure

On this page, you define the core of your table: its structure, its fields, and its behavior.

General Table Settings

  • Display Name: The name that appears in menus and headings.
  • Technical Name: A unique name without spaces (only a-z, 0-9, _). This is used for the database and cannot be changed after creation.
  • Group: Assign the table to a group to improve clarity in the menu and on the homepage.

Table Fields

Here you can see all the fields of your table.

  • Change Order: Click and hold the icon to reorder the fields via drag-and-drop.
  • Add Field: Click the button to create a new field.
  • Edit Options: Click the icon to edit the detailed settings of a field (e.g., default values, visibility, formatting).
  • Delete Field: Click the icon to permanently delete a field. Warning: All data in this column will be lost!

In the sections below, you can configure advanced features:

  • Attachments: Link related child tables.
  • Options: Set the default sorting, a table icon, or the public form URL.
  • Widgets: Configure the statistics tiles (Min, Max, Sum, Average) for the table view page.
  • Conditional Formatting: Define rules to color-code rows based on specific values.
