Working with Tables
Help & Basics

Tables are the heart of data management. Here you will learn how to keep track of large amounts of data, find exactly what you are looking for, and customize the display to your needs.
Search & Find
- Global Search: You will find a search box above the table. Enter a term here to search all searchable text fields (e.g., name, description, email) simultaneously. This is the fastest way to a result.
- Column Filters: For more precise results, use the filter function (funnel icon). Here you can define specific criteria for each column:
- Text: Contains, Starts with, Equals...
- Numbers/Date: Greater than, Less than, Period (e.g., "This month").
- Selection: Choose one or more status values from a list.
- Combination: You can combine global search and column filters to narrow down the result set extremely effectively.
Sorting
Bring order to your lists.
- Simple Sorting: Clicking on a column header sorts the table by this value in ascending order (A-Z, 0-9). A second click reverses the sort order (Z-A, 9-0).
- Indicator: A small arrow next to the column name always shows you which field is currently being sorted by.
Views
Not every display fits every purpose. At the top right, you will find tools to change the perspective:
- List View: The classic Excel-like display. Perfect for viewing and comparing a lot of information compactly.
- Card View: Ideal for visual data (e.g., real estate, products with images) or when working on mobile devices.
- Kanban Board: (If configured) Visualizes work processes. Move cards via drag & drop from "Open" to "Done".
- Calendar: (If configured) Shows records based on a date field in a monthly, weekly, or daily overview.
Export & Print Data
Need the data outside the application?
- Export: Use the export button to download the currently filtered list as CSV, Excel, or PDF.
- Print: The print view prepares the list optimized for paper or PDF printing, removes unnecessary menus, and ensures good readability.
